Consultations Outside Australia

My work is based in Australia and I consult in various locations in Australia, as well as via Telehealth. I work with people outside via Telehealth if they are referred to me and on occasions I consult outside of Australia.
 
As I only work with people outside of Australia who have been referred to me, I request that the person who is referring connects us in an email or phone message.
 
We can then arrange a time for an initial conversation to determine whether or not a consultation is suitable. It gives the opportunity to learn if we understand each other’s accent, can communicate  in regards to the intention of the consultation and agree on whether or not it could be fulfilled.
 
Each county has their own policies and regulations towards qualifications and registration to prescribe homeopathy. In Australia homeopathic training and registration is a complementary medicine and a medical degree is not a requirement to practise homeopathy. I am not a licensed medical doctor of allopathic medicine, nor am I a doctor of homeopathic medicine. I am a homeopath. I hold an Advanced Diploma in Homeopathy and am registered with the Australian Register of Homeopaths (Member 13-333).

For long distance consultations I work according to the ATMS online audio-visual consultation policy.
 
By continuing with the distance consultation you are acknowledging that you understand the following:

• The consulting practitioner is AROH registered homeopath, Louise Stewart;

• Code of Conduct, Standards of Practice  can be found here: https://www.seasalthomeopathy.com.au/terms-of-agreement/

• Face to face consultations are the preferred method of consultation; Due to limitations in distance consultation you may require further assessments with health practitioners local to your region;

• The patient and practitioner should feel safe and respected at all times;

• A camera and microphone will be required for the consultation and you feel comfortable and competent in using the agreed technology for the consultation;

• The practitioner’s audio-visual equipment will be in an area that is out of visual and audio range of persons not involved in the consultation;

• Neither the patient, practitioner or any other party are authorised to make visual or audio recordings of the consultation;

• Photographs may be requested to help show the features, signs and symptoms of the patient;

• Unless otherwise agreed, the call will be initiated by Louise at the time of the consultation;

• Either party can end the call;

• The fee will be agreed upon before the consultation commences;

• The prescription and invoice will be emailed after the consultation;

• The remedies will be posted to the address you provide above, or an alternative local source will be recommended.

The fee for those consulting from outside of Australia are outline below unless a different agreement is made.
